More than 260 Dutchess County organizations participated in workplace campaigns in 2007. Employees contributed ongoing support throughout the year with payroll deductions or donated one time. This year we hope to increase that number, giving more help to your neighbors and community. We are already off to a great start thanks to the 2008 Pacesetter campaign which raised just shy of $100,000. Together these organizations and their employees help us to build a stronger, healthier community in Dutchess County. Please give generously to the Community Fund, where your money can help in so many ways!
Thank you to the gracious parnters who have provided incentives for our 2008 Campaign!

United Way of Dutchess County Sets goal at $2.2 milllion for the Community Fund

Volunteers make the United Way campaign possible, working with organizations to conduct campaigns so that employees of those organizations have the opportunity to give charitable donations through the convenience of payroll deduction. Campaign Volunteers include not only our Campaign Chair, Sheila Appel, but also Campaign Leadership Team Members and Loaned Executives. Loaned Executives are asked by their employers to help United Way work in the community, and bring the latest news about United Way, plus campaign materials, into the 260+ organizations that run workplace campaigns.
