Touch-A-Truck Photo Gallery
The intermittent rain didn't deter more than 1,200 from attending the fundraiser for United Way of Dutchess County or the 39 vehicles from being on hand for everyone to enjoy. Horns of vehicles of all sizes tooted and blared, sometimes in chorus, throughout Sunday, June 6 at the Young Leaders United's 2nd Annual Touch-A-Truck event at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck.
Tooting those horns were children of all ages, some as young as 2 years old, accompanied by parents, grandparents, siblings and neighbors who watched the youngsters climb aboard fire trucks, an ambulance, a cement mixer, a dump truck and other vehicles.
