Employee Campaign Managers
A key element to the success of our Campaign is the ECM program.
Each year, area companies are asked to choose an Employee Campaign Manager(ECM) to run their workplace campaign. The role of an ECM is to meet their assigned Loaned Executive and help plan and successfully implement their workplace campaign. Through these efforts, ECM's help raise dollars, educate employees about services and increase participation in the annual Community Fund campaign, which funds services to improve the quality of life for all Dutchess County residents.
The Campaign Managers not only provide important support to the campaign itself, but they also allow United Way staff to maintain their focus on the intensive, ongoing activities requiring year-round attention. In addition, through the use of an effective ECM program, United Way is able to avoid the need to hire outside staff resources during the campaign, enabling the allocation of more dollars to its agency partners.
You are our hero!
While we can't give you the cape you deserve, we will always think of you as our community's heroes. Whether you've been an ECM for a dozen years or just joined us this year, we're here to help you in any way we can. To the left you will see the campaign toolkit, it holds the tools for a successful campaign. We also encourage you to meet and talk with other ECMs by joining us on facebook! All across the county, individuals are leading the way as ECMs. Have a question? A good story to share? Feeling a little lost? Facebook is an easy place to ask your questions and see what others are saying.
Thank you for being an Employee Campaign Manager. You will make a positive impact by asking one simple question, "Will you please consider giving to United Way?" The number one reason people do not give to United Way is because they are not asked.
Thank you for inspiring others to give, advocate or volunteer to advance the common good.
Sign up for our ECM training! August 11 from11:30-5:00p.m. at the Wallace Center.
Start planning early, this year we will have an ECM Challenge! Details coming soon, stay posted.
