but what about your child’s development?

Make your appointment for a free, 45-minute screening of your child’s development in five areas: 

• Gross Motor Skills
• Fine Motor Skills
• Problem Solving Skills
• Social/Emotional Skills
• Communication & Speech Skills

The screening is done one-on-one through play with your child and talk with you, and your child never leaves your side.

Screenings are completed by a professional Educator from Astor Services for Children & Families, and funded by United Way of Dutchess County. Any child age 2 months to 5 years is eligible for free screenings. We offer screenings in every area of Dutchess County - call to find times and locations in your area.

Even if you do not have a specific "concern" about your child, you’re welcome to come! You can gain information about your child's development and walk away with free activities and referrals.
