This family-friendly event allows children, ages 2 to 10, their parents and guests to see, touch, and learn about a wide variety of vehicles.

Join the Young Leaders of United Way of Dutchess County as we host our second annual Holiday Happy Hour at Cosimo's in Poughkeepsie, NY. A complimentary pasta station will be available and a cash bar with drink specials will be on tap.

Five awardees will be chosen to receive a $1,000 grant for a Dutchess County nonprofit organization of their choice.

Noted author and consultant Joseph “Jay” Connor, CEO of The Collaboratory for Community Solutions, will be the keynote speaker at the 2011 Spirit of Dutchess County Awards luncheon on June 8 at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel.

The awards event will salute 29 outstanding individuals and groups of volunteers, nominated by the community, who make our community a better place in which to live. The awards are co-sponsored by United Way of Dutchess County and Hands On! The Hudson Valley.
